Boat or Shore Dive?

DJI_0873_edited.jpg

When boat diving we have access to more variety and choice dive sites. During our boat dives we are blessed with time out on the water and experiencing the Kaikoura Coast at it's core. With expansive topography exploring our coastline by boat can be different every dive. General wildlife sightings for both options are fairly similar. Our shore dives are restricted to a few sites a typically do not go past 12m in depth. However, the kelpy environment is breath-taking. We walk over the rocky shore and are required to surface swim/snorkel. So bring your adventurous spirit when shore diving with us!

Do I need experience?

No - We have made all our tours suitable for all levels of experience with SCUBA. For us it does not matter if you are on dive 4 or 1000. We welcome you and are here to help.

However, if you have not been diving for a long time we recommend you ask us about refreshing your skill before signing up for a tour.
