Encouraging and teaching our local tamariki!

 

Every Tuesday Evening from 16th of February - 23rd of March 2026. All kids are welcome to join at any point!

The SSI SCUBA Explorers Program offers the creativity to teach and encourage youth aged from 8-11 years old. With the support of the Kaikoura Aquatic Centre we hold 1 hour long after school sessions involving various fun tasks and skills. Building in-water skills with a focus on being safe. 

​

Our previous explorers have learnt all about diving skills, techniques, rescue scenarios and how important our ocean is and how to protect it. Our aims is to make this program affordable and accessible to provide an unique opportunity to our local youth.
